The PPb26-70 is corrosion resistant due to the canopy’s aluminium construction, which is coated with Jotun Alu 90 primer and Jotun Hardtop Flexi topcoat. The individual panels are each finished after they have been cut and bent. In order to apply a finish, panels must first be prepped. In the event that the canopy is damaged, the paint finish can be repaired.
Preventing errors while using generators
In general, diesel standby generators have small faults that can be attributed to operators. A common example is overfilling tanks. The PPb26-70 range has been engineered with a fuel filler that sits lower than the top skin of the fuel tank to prevent this. Further, the fuel level can be read both from the generator controller and from a fuel gauge installed next to the filler. Additionally, these gauges are set to read full when full, minimizing the grey area of reading full when it isn’t. Low fuel warnings and low fuel shut down are also included. When the fuel level drops too low, the set will not run. Rather than having to bleed the engine and get it running again after filling the tank again, the user can simply fill their tank again and get up and running again without outside assistance.
